Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Highways Department, Highways Division Faisalabad, invites electronic bids for various road construction and rehabilitation schemes, including the construction of a road link at Chak No. 281/GB (Patharan), Tehsil Jaranwala. This government tender is conducted through the PPRA E-Tendering System (EPADS) and follows the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Eligible engineering firms and contractors must possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license for the financial year 2025-26 in the relevant category and codes. The procurement requires a bid security of 5% of the estimated cost (DNIT amount) in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the Executive Engineer. Contractors are required to use mechanized systems for TST/DST surfacing and concrete batching plants for rigid pavement works. The project has a completion period of one month. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted electronically via the EPADS portal by 11:00 AM on 22 May 2026. Successful bidders will manage claims through a Digital Measurement Book, and no cost overruns due to price variation will be admissible under Clause-55 of the contract.
