The Local Government and Community Development Department in Bahawalpur, Punjab invites sealed bids for multiple large-scale infrastructure development schemes across various Union Councils including Khanqah Sharif, Ahmedpur East, Jamrani Kohna, and Abbasnagar. The scope of work encompasses the construction of tuff tiles, brick pavements, metalled roads, and extensive sewerage systems. The project is divided into four major lots, each with an estimated cost of 50 million Rupees, totaling a significant investment in regional community development. Eligible engineering firms and contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-5 or above for the current financial year and must be active taxpayers. Bidders are required to submit a 5% bid security (Earnest Money) of 2.5 million Rupees per lot along with their proposals. The procurement follows the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and requires electronic submission via the e-PADS portal. All technical and financial bids must be submitted no later than 11:00 AM on 22 May 2026, with the formal opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same day.
