Description / Scope of Work
The Office of the Superintendent Central Jail in Lahore, Punjab invites electronic bids for the procurement of equipment and security gadgets under the ADP scheme titled Prisoners Welfare Program One. The tender is divided into two distinct lots: Lot 1 includes office and facility equipment such as 55-inch LEDs, a 32-line intercom system, photocopy machines, 2-ton air conditioners, walk-in refrigerators, and 500kg platform scales, while Lot 2 focuses on security gadgets including metal detectors, under-vehicle search mirrors, and specialized wireless sets. This procurement follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Eligible bidders, including well-reputed suppliers and authorized distributors, must be registered with the relevant Income Tax and Sales Tax authorities and maintain active status. A bid security of 2 percent of the estimated cost is required for each lot. All proposals must be submitted electronically via the EPADS portal no later than 11:00 AM on 21 May 2026. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the operational security and welfare infrastructure of the Central Jail and Women Jail in Lahore.
