Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General Research and Development Establishment (DGRDE) in Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for the indigenous development of a Motor Grader Virtual Reality Training Simulator (MGVRTS). This high-tech procurement project aims to leverage in-country resources to create a sophisticated VR training solution. The bidding process follows a 'Two Stage Two Envelope' procedure in accordance with PPRA Rules 2004. Eligible firms must be registered with the FBR for Income Tax and Sales Tax, maintain an active taxpayer status, and possess in-house manufacturing capabilities relevant to simulator development. While preference is given to firms registered with DGRDE or DGDP, un-registered firms meeting the technical criteria may also participate. Detailed bidding documents specifying technical requirements and the scope of work are available at the DGRDE office on Abid Majeed Road. Technical and financial proposals for the first stage must be submitted by 10:30 AM on 25 May 2026, with the bid opening scheduled for 11:00 AM on the same day.
