HIT Taxila is procuring 30 customized shower testing systems through a sealed tender process governed by PPRA rules. This is a fixed-price, single-stage supply contract with a tight 30-day delivery window post-signature. Bidders require prior HIT pre-qualification or indexation and must demonstrate three years of relevant government sector experience. The Rs 2000 bid fee and documentary compliance burden suggest HIT prioritizes vendor capability and financial stability over price competition alone. Unclear whether this is a one-off acquisition or part of recurring demand.
Who can bid: Bidders must hold valid NTN registration and possess HIT pre-qualification or indexation letters. Sales Tax Department registration and audited financials for three years are mandatory. For distributors or agents, formal trade linkage with the OEM is required. Typically, bidders in such procurements must be Pakistani-registered businesses with no history of government contract default or blacklisting.
