Description / Scope of Work
The District Council Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab invites sealed electronic bids for the Phase-II construction and establishment of bus stops and shelters designed for eco-friendly buses. The project is divided into two major components: infrastructure development within Tehsil Dera Ghazi Khan and Tehsil Kot Chutta. This procurement is conducted through the EPADS portal following the Single Stage One Envelope procedure in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Eligible contractors must be registered and renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. The technical specifications involve civil and electrical works, including earth filling, the installation of acrylic signage, and the provision of PVC insulated copper conductor cables for service connections. Bidders are required to submit a bid security of 5 percent of the estimated cost. All electronic proposals must be submitted via the official e-procurement system no later than 11:00 AM on 23 May 2026, with the public opening of bids scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day. This initiative is part of the Local Government & Community Development Department's effort to improve public transport infrastructure in the region.
