Description / Scope of Work
Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, Federal Government invites technical and financial proposals from eligible State-Owned Entities for the design and construction of the China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre on Earth Sciences. This significant PSDP project, executed under PPRA Rule 42 (f), involves master planning and a detailed topographic survey of 50 acres of allocated land. The scope of work requires the selected entity to bid on a sufficient design and bill of quantities based on provided conceptual drawings. The contract duration is set for two years, followed by a one-year defect liability period. Evaluation will follow a quality-cum-cost-based selection method, with weights assigned as 70% for technical merit and 30% for financial proposals. Participating firms must achieve a minimum technical score of 70% to be considered for financial opening. Interested entities must ensure their comprehensive submissions are delivered to the office of the Project Director by the deadline of 11:00 AM on 20 May 2026, with the public opening of proposals scheduled shortly thereafter at the university premises
