Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government & Community Development Department in Rawalpindi, Punjab invites sealed tenders for the procurement of electrical, solid waste, and general items for the financial year 2025-26. This procurement includes a wide range of essential supplies such as street light materials, sanitation equipment, machinery spare parts, and miscellaneous hardware required for various local government operations in the Rawalpindi division. Only firms registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments and listed on the Active Taxpayers List are eligible to participate. The bidding process will follow the Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Interested bidders can obtain the comprehensive tender documents and detailed specifications from the office of the Director Local Government, Rawalpindi during office hours upon payment of the non-refundable tender fee. Technical and financial bids must be submitted by 11:30 AM on 22 May 2026, with the public opening of bids scheduled for 12:00 PM on the same day.
