Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids for the repair and maintenance of service units and residential infrastructure. This procurement is divided into two specific projects: the special repair of the roof at the Forge Shop service building inside the Carriage Factory in Islamabad, and the renovation of washroom facilities at Bungalow No. 4/A within the Carriage Factory Colony in Rawalpindi. The works are to be executed based on the Composite Schedule of Rates 2016 for the Rawalpindi Division. Eligible contractors must be approved by Pakistan Railways or other government departments, registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with the relevant specialization code for civil works, and maintain an active status on the FBR Active Taxpayers List. The bidding process is conducted via the e-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (EPADS) under the single stage single envelope procedure. Detailed bidding documents are available for download through the official e-procurement portal. All technical and financial submissions must be uploaded to the EPADS system no later than 12:00 PM on 01 June 2026.
