Description / Scope of Work
The Ministry of Interior in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed tenders from reputable firms and specialized contractors for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a comprehensive Fire Detection and Protection System. This critical safety project is designed to upgrade the security and emergency response infrastructure of the ministry's main building and associated blocks. The scope of work involves the installation of addressable smoke detectors, fire alarm control panels, manual call points, and automatic fire suppression systems including fire extinguishers and hose reels. All participating firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and maintain an active tax profile with the FBR. Detailed bidding documents containing the technical specifications, layout plans, and evaluation criteria can be obtained from the Section Officer (General) during office hours upon payment of the tender fee. Technical and financial bids must be submitted separately under the Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Proposals must be delivered to the ministry no later than 11:00 AM on 01 June 2026, where technical bids will be opened on the same day.
