Description / Scope of Work
The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) has announced a tender for the rehabilitation and development of the Historic Library Cafe at Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh in Multan. This project is aimed at promoting tourism and involves significant conservation and development works. The estimated project cost is PKR 39.85 million. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in Category C-5 or above and have relevant experience in similar heritage or construction projects. The procurement process is being conducted electronically via the e-PADS portal under PPRA Rules 2014. Bidders must also be registered with the FBR and PRA with an active tax filer status.
