Description / Scope of Work
The COMSATS University Islamabad in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids from eligible firms for the project of providing and fixing a tyre buster system at Gate-1 of the Park Road campus. This procurement is intended to enhance the security infrastructure of the university by installing a heavy-duty mechanical tyre puncture system to control vehicular access. The scope of work includes the supply of the tyre buster unit, complete installation, testing, and commissioning at the site. Interested bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities, including the Federal Board of Revenue, and must be listed on the Active Taxpayers List. The bidding process will follow the Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per the Public Procurement Rules 2004. A bid security of two percent of the total bid value must be attached with the proposal in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft. Detailed bidding documents containing technical specifications and terms of reference can be obtained from the procurement office. All completed bids must be submitted to the Principal Seat in Islamabad by the deadline of 11:00 AM on 21 May 2026.
