Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Industries & Commerce in Quetta, Balochistan invites electronic bids for the construction of a road network connecting the Bostan Special Economic Zone with the Bostan Railway Station. This significant infrastructure project has an estimated cost of 751,921,514 PKR and will be executed based on the Composite Schedule Rates 2023. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-2 or above, with specialized codes CE01 for roads and pavements. Eligibility requirements include a proven track record of completing at least two assignments of a similar nature, specifically road construction projects exceeding 350 million PKR and building works exceeding 400 million PKR within the last three years. Additionally, firms must demonstrate a financial turnover of at least 700 million PKR and be active on the tax payer lists of the FBR and Balochistan Revenue Authority. The procurement follows a single-stage, two-envelope procedure with a mandatory 3% bid security. All proposals must be submitted electronically via the BPPRA Electronic Public Procurement System by 09:00 AM on 26 May 2026, with the digital opening scheduled for 10:00 AM.
