Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Buildings Division, Dera Ghazi Khan, invites bids for a multi-component infrastructure project involving the construction and installation of various essential facilities. The scope of work includes the installation of a 300-gallon Submersible Pump including boring and storage tank, the construction of six rooms and two washrooms, and the establishment of a complete sewerage system with a septic tank and manholes. The project also entails extensive civil works such as manual excavation in ordinary soil, earthwork for sewers, and the laying of tuff tiles. Technical specifications require the use of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) for roof slabs, beams, and columns (nominal mix 1:2:4), along with brick masonry and cement concrete in foundations. All earthwork, including filling, watering, and ramming under floors with surplus and lead earth, must be executed according to standardized provincial specifications. Materials and construction methods are subject to rigorous quality control and approval by the Engineer Incharge to ensure structural integrity and functional performance.
