Description / Scope of Work
The Sindh Employee's Social Security Institution (SESSI) invites online bids through the E-procurement system (EPADS) for the supply and installation of a modular theatre with CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) at Landhi Hospital Karachi, Sindh. The estimated cost of this project is 350 million Pakistani Rupees. This is a single-stage, two-envelope procurement process following SPPRA Rules 2010 (as amended), requiring submission of both technical and financial proposals. The work scope includes complete supply and installation of modular theatre equipment with integrated CSSD facilities at the designated hospital location.
Intending participants must be registered contractors on the E-PADS portal and are required to submit an original pay order of Rs. 3,000 in favor of SESSI as a bid document fee before the opening date. Bidders must provide bid security equal to 5 percent of the bid amount in the form of a deposit at call, pay order, demand draft, or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank of Pakistan, valid for 28 days beyond the bid validity period. All bidders must meet standard contractor registration and qualification requirements as per SPPRA regulations.
Bid documents can be downloaded from https://sessi.gov.pk or submitted electronically via the E-PADS portal at https://epad.sindh.gov.pk. The bid document submission deadline is 09 June 2026 at 02:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 02:30 PM. In case a government holiday is announced, the next working day shall be considered for bid opening at the same time in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Interested contractors should ensure timely registration and submission of all required documents through the official procurement channels.
