Description / Scope of Work
GMC Teaching Hospital, Gujranwala invites e-bids through the E-PAD online procurement system for the financial year 2026-27 for four procurement tenders. The primary tenders are framework contracts for bulk purchase of drugs and medicines, and medical devices with surgical dressings and disposable items. Additional tenders include registration of vendors for petty quotation purchases through Form-11 valid DML and local purchase on day-to-day basis through Form-9 on the PITB portal. The procurement covers supply of local and imported drugs, medicines, surgical supplies and implants to support the hospital's operations in Gujranwala, Punjab.
Bidders must be registered firms with established credentials demonstrating technical, financial and managerial capabilities. Eligible bidders should submit e-bids containing complete technical and financial offers inclusive of all applicable taxes with full conformity to bidding documents, with all pages signed and stamped. Bid security of 2 percent of estimated cost is required for framework contracts in the form of bank draft, guarantee or call deposit receipt issued after advertisement publication. For local purchase registrations, a refundable bid security of Rs. 50,000 is required. Performance guarantee of 5 percent applies for successful bulk purchase bidders. Procurement is governed by Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 as amended and Health Department guidelines dated January 9, 2023.
Bidding documents containing all terms, conditions, requirements, quantities and specifications may be downloaded from the E-PAD website at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk or https://ppra.punjab.gov.pk before the closing date of June 3, 2026 at 10:30 AM. E-bid submission closes at the same date and time with tender opening scheduled for 11:00 AM the same day. Tender validity extends to June 30, 2027 for framework contracts and September 30, 2027 for vendor registrations.
