Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Corporation, Dera Ghazi Khan invites sealed bids for the procurement of street lights material for lighting arrangements of Muharrum-ul-Haram routes, Imam Barghas, Majalis and other related areas on the occasion of Muharrum-ul-Haram 2026 in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 1.6148 Million with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 80,740 and a time limit of 15 days for completion. The scope of work includes supply and erection of double core PVC insulated copper conductor cable, LED chip cobra lights, power drivers, LED bulbs, switches, circuit breakers, LED flood lights, safety instruments and related electrical accessories and materials as detailed in the bill of quantities referenced to MRS, Ist Bi Annual 2026, District D.G.Khan, Page No. 156.
Eligibility requirements mandate that contractors must comply with PWD specifications, ASTM/BSS standards and approved designs. A Graduate Engineer must be employed by the contractor from the start of work for supervision and must be registered with PEC. Bid security and performance guarantees as per contract agreement are mandatory. Black-listed contractors are prohibited from participating in this tender. All materials must be verified through manufacturer's original documentation including confirmation letters, factory test reports, sales certificates and traceability codes.
Bid documents are available as per the Ist Bi Annual 2026 estimate for the period from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026. Contractors must submit sealed bids in accordance with the detailed estimate and BOQ provisional quantities, which are subject to variations based on detailed designs approved by competent authority. The tender is issued under the jurisdiction of Municipal Corporation, Dera Ghazi Khan, and conditions of the Revised Contract Agreement and DNIT directives shall be binding upon the contractor.
