Provision of Lights in Basketball Court at Khalid SRE by Military Engineer Services Navy

The Military Engineer Services (MES), Pakistan Navy, GE (Navy) Const Manora, Karachi, invites applications for pre-qualification of contractors and firms for the provision of lights in the basketball court at Khalid SRE. The estimated contract value is 3.804 million Pakistani rupees. This tender is being issued in accordance with Clauses 13, 15 and 16 of PPRA Rules 2004, and posting on the PPRA website is required under Rule 12 of PPRA Rules 2004. The project is located in Karachi, Sindh province.

Firms and contractors must be enlisted with MES in the unlimited category or demonstrate equivalent experience with other government departments such as Pak PWD, PR, or CDA. Applicants not enrolled with MES must submit detailed documentation including names of works executed in the last two years, agency details, work amounts, time allowed, actual completion dates, progress percentages, and departmental performance reports from divisional engineers or XENs. Contractors not on the MES approved list must deposit earnest money equal to 5 percent of the estimated cost as an FDR or CDR pledged to GE (Navy) Const Manora. If a tender is accepted, non-MES contractors must deposit 300,000 rupees as additional security.

Applications for pre-qualification must be received by 22 July 2026. Bid submission is scheduled for 06 August 2026 at 12:00 AM, with bid opening at the same date and time. Interested contractors should submit complete applications with all required documents and supporting evidence of previous experience. The accepting officer reserves the right to reject any or all applications in accordance with Paragraph 33 of PPRA Rules 2004.
