Description / Scope of Work
The Govt. Special Education Centre Gujar Khan, located in District Rawalpindi, Punjab, invites electronic bids for the maintenance, repair and replacement of parts of vehicles for the financial year 2025-26. The procurement is being conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules (PPRA) 2014 as amended, with an estimated cost of Rs. 60,000. This tender covers comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repair services to ensure the operational efficiency of vehicles used by the institution in Gujar Khan, serving the special education sector in the region.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed and financially sound firms or contractors registered with EPADS (Electronic Procurement System), the Punjab Revenue Authority, and the Federal Board of Revenue for both income tax and sales tax purposes. Bidders are required to submit an original bid security in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) at 3 percent of the estimated cost, amounting to Rs. 60,000, made payable to the headmaster of the institution. Upon acceptance of the tender, the successful bidder shall deposit a performance guarantee of 5 percent of the total contract amount as mandated under PPRA Rules 2014, section 56, chapter VII.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website at https://ppra.punjhab.gov.pk/ and the EPADS portal at https://eprocure.punjhab.gov.pk/ immediately following publication of this notice. Electronic bids comprising a single package containing both technical specifications and financial quotations must be submitted through the E-PADS website on Friday, 05 June 2026 by 10:00 AM, with opening scheduled for 10:30 AM the same day at the office of the headmaster. The contract will be awarded to the successful bidder offering the lowest rate, with E-bid validity extending until 30 June 2026. Bidding will follow PPRA Rule 38(a) using the Single Stage Single Envelope method.
