Description / Scope of Work
The Highway Division, Sargodha invites sealed bids for three maintenance and repair projects in District Sargodha, Punjab. The first scheme covers maintenance and repair of RCC railing on Khan Muhammad Wala Bridge and Chak Misran Canal Bridge with an approximate cost of Rs 0.626 million and completion time of one month. The second project involves maintenance and repair of Sardarpur Road at Jhada over Rani Rajbha with an approximate cost of Rs 0.891 million, including dismantling of RCC slabs and brick work, excavation, concrete work, and reinforcement. The third project addresses maintenance and repair work of damaged parapits and wing walls of Pull Saim Nullah at Mona Drain near Lokri Hatter on Manwais to Huzurpur Road with an approximate cost of Rs 1.272 million. All projects are to be completed within one month from the date of commencement.
Bidders must submit sealed tenders as per the bid schedule provided. The bid documents detail specifications including reinforced cement concrete work, brick work, excavation, and steel reinforcement as per standard specifications and drawings. Earnest money deposits are required as specified in each bid schedule. Work must be completed strictly in accordance with technically sanctioned detailed estimates, and quantities shown in the bid schedule are estimates used for comparing tenders only and do not represent actual quantities to be performed.
Bid documents are available from the Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Sargodha. Tenders must be submitted by the closing date of 08 June 2026. When discrepancies exist between unit rates and extended costs, the unit rate shall be taken as correct. Any work items not mentioned in the bid schedule but executed shall be paid as per prevailing market rates as exhibited on the Finance Department website for the month in which technical sanction was issued. Clause 55 is not admissible for special repair works as per Secretary C&W letter dated 30-06-2022.
