Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Kot Chutta, under the Local Government & Community Development Department of the Government of the Punjab, invites sealed competitive bids for two major infrastructure projects in Kot Chutta, Dera Ghazi Khan District. The first project involves the installation of street light poles with solar lights and allied works under the committee's jurisdiction, with an estimated cost of PKR 98,24,300 and earnest money of PKR 4,91,215. The second project comprises installing external fire hydrant points with boring, lowering, and pumping unit facilities, estimated at PKR 99,56,300 with earnest money of PKR 4,97,815. Both projects are critical for enhancing public safety and infrastructure development in the Kot Chutta area.
Bidders must be eligible firms, contractors, or suppliers registered or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. Prospective bidders are required to submit earnest money in the form of a CDR from any scheduled bank at five percent of the estimated cost. The contractor or bidder shall produce the original CDR to the Chief Officer accompanying the letter head of the applicant firm before the closing time of the bid; otherwise, the online bid submitted will not be entertained. All bids must be properly signed and stamped by the authorized representative of the bidding entity.
Bidding documents and proposals must be prepared in accordance with the instructions provided in the bidding document and uploaded on the E-PADS portal on or before 09 June 2026 by 2:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day at 2:30 PM at the Municipal Committee Kot Chutta office. Bidders must submit financial instruments in hard copy along with soft copies uploaded on E-PADS as per regulation. For further information or clarification, interested parties may contact the Procuring Agency. The procurement shall be carried out through E-Procurement (EPADS), and all relevant rules of the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 will be applicable.
