Description / Scope of Work
Peoples Steel Mills Ltd., located in Javedan Nagar, Manghopir, Karachi, Sindh, invites sealed tender bids for the Construction of Road under the PSM/EPRF-II project. This is a single-stage two-envelope procurement process open to repute-licensed contractors in category C-3 and above with valid registration from Pakistan Engineering Council in the code of work Road & Drains and Hard Standing works. Bidders must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and at least three comparable projects of Road, Drains & Hard Standing Works. The estimated bid value will determine the earnest money requirement, which is payable as 2% of the bid value in the shape of a Pay Order made in the name of Peoples Steel Mills Ltd. The tender fee is Rs. 5,000/-, non-refundable.
Eligibility is restricted to contractors holding valid or renewed licenses with Pakistan Engineering Council registration in SRB and FBR. Bidders must demonstrate substantial experience in similar infrastructure works. The earnest money equivalent to 2% of the total bid value must accompany the financial proposal and should be submitted as a Pay Order payable to Peoples Steel Mills Ltd. Technical and Financial bids will be evaluated separately, with technical bids opened within one week of submission and financial bids opened 20 days after technical bid evaluation, in the presence of authorized representatives of bidders.
Tender documents are available for collection from the G.M. (M&S) Division-III office during working days Monday to Friday from 13:30 to 17:00 hours, effective from 20-05-2026, excluding Eid holidays. The submission deadline is 12-06-2026 up to 15:00 hours at the Javedan Nagar office in Karachi.
