Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Navy E-8 Sector Naval Complex Islamabad invites sealed quotations from qualified firms and importers for the purchase of bio-degradable polythene garbage bags for the fiscal year 2026-27. The tender covers the supply of bio-degradable garbage bags as per specified sample, with a non-refundable quotation fee of Rs. 2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand only). This procurement is intended for use by the Naval Research Centre Islamabad and represents the Navy's commitment to environmentally sustainable procurement practices. The scope of work encompasses supply of quality-certified bio-degradable polythene bags meeting prescribed standards and specifications.
Eligibility criteria require firms and importers to be prequalified and registered with the Government of Pakistan for Sales, NTN, and Professional Taxes. Blacklisted firms will not be entertained. Firms or importers already registered with any Defence Force or organisation must submit relevant documents. Bidders must authorize an institutional distributor for execution of works to HQs COMNOR. All submissions must include complete documentation and proof of registration compliance.
Tender documents are available in hard and soft copy formats from the OI/C NRC office. Sealed tenders marked "TENDER FOR PURCHASE OF BIO-DEGRADABLE POLYTHENE GARBAGE BAGS (AS PER SAMPLE) FY 2026-27" must be submitted by 15 June 2026 at 1100 hours with complete documentation. The tender will be opened on 15 June 2026 at 1130 hours in the presence of authorized representatives.
