Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Punjab, through Said Mitha Teaching Hospital Lahore, invites electronic bids from reputable vendors for the procurement of medicines, surgical disposables, and X-ray films and chemicals. This tender encompasses two main procurement activities: prequalification and walk-in registration of vendors for the purchase of medicines and surgical disposables through the LPDD Online PITB Portal at Said Mitha Teaching Hospital Lahore, and a framework contract bulk purchase of X-ray films and chemicals. The procurement shall be conducted in Punjab under the applicable laws and PPRA Rule 2014, with all bids to be submitted online through the E-Procurement System (EPADS) at http://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bid security is estimated at 2% for both procurement items.
All interested applicants must register on the EPADS platform to be eligible for participation. The bidding procedure shall follow a single stage, two envelope method as per PPRA guidelines. Bidding documents containing detailed terms and conditions are available on the EPADS website and the PPRA portal at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. As per PPRA Rules 36-A, one person may submit only one bid per procurement, and submission of multiple bids will result in rejection of all bids. The scanned copy of original bid security must be attached in the technical bid submitted on EPADS, while the original bid security shall be submitted in the Purchase Cell on or before the bid submission date and time, otherwise the bid shall be rejected.
Bid documents are available on EPADS (http://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) and the PPRA website (http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk viewtender.aspx). E-bids must be submitted on the E-Procurement System on the specified date and time with proper index and checklist, failing which the Procuring Agency has the right to reject the e-bids. The prequalification registration and bids opening is scheduled for 07.06.2026 at 10:30 am. All bids must comply with PPRA requirements and response time shall be calculated exclusively from the date of publication on the PPRA website.
