Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Irrigation Division, District Khyber invites technical and financial electronic bids under single stage two envelope procedure for construction of irrigation tube wells with solarization in merged areas of District Khyber, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The tender comprises two major packages with a combined estimated cost of Rs. 46.524 million. Package 01 involves solarization of five tube wells in Tehsil Bara with locations including Bar Qamber Kalli, Kam Shalmaan Landi Kotal, Yousaf Khel Loi, Samsai Loi, and Shekhmal Khel in Kotal. Package 02 encompasses solarization of seven tube wells in Tehsil Bara including locations at Kala Khel, Kallay Sultan Khel, Muhammad Ali Chowk, Mada Khel Lalma, Masjid Hamza Sanzal Khel, Sultan Khel, and Kally Margat. The project falls under ADP reference 2180/2025-26 and targets irrigation infrastructure development in the region.
Eligible firms and contractors must have renewed their enlistment and Professional Engineering Council license in the relevant Solar category EE-11 for the financial year 2025-26, with registration confirmed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and active tax paper status from the Income Tax Department. Two percent earnest money is required for each package as specified. Bidders must submit an affidavit on stamp paper affirming authenticity of the contractor's directory record enclosed in the sealed financial bid. In case of abnormally low bids, additional security provisions under KPPRA Notification S.R.O 14/Vol:1-24/2021-22 dated 10 May 2022 shall be enforced. Bid validity is ninety days.
Bidding documents are available for download from the Irrigation Department website at www.irrigation.gkp.pk and the KPPRA official website. Separate technical proposals for each work with required documentation must clearly mention the scheme name, and hard copies of broachers should be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer. Technical and financial proposals must be submitted by 11 June 2026 at 12:00 noon with technical bids opening on the same day at 12:30 PM. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 3 June 2026 at 11:30 AM. Financial bids will be opened only after approval of technical bids from the competent authority.
