Description / Scope of Work
Lahore University of Management Sciences invites sealed bids for the procurement of Network Switches on a single stage two envelope basis. The procurement consists of ten units of Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series (C9200L-48P-4G) POE 740W switches with comprehensive technical specifications including 48 ports of PoE+ connectivity at 10/100/1000 Mbps, 4 fixed uplinks at 1G SFP, 740W PoE power capacity, 104 Gbps switching capacity, and memory configuration of 2 GB DRAM with 4 GB Flash storage. The tender is issued under reference LUMS/284/2025 dated 18.05.2026 with a total procurement value to be determined by the lowest qualified bidder. Delivery is required on an Ex-LUMS (DDP) basis, and the vendor must be responsible for on-site configuration, installation, and deployment of all switches in production according to LUMS requirements.
Eligible bidders must be authorized distributors or manufacturers who can provide complete solutions with no partial offerings accepted. Bidders are required to submit proof of technical competence and team credentials for deployment personnel, along with official OEM verification of the proposed solution. A special educational discount is expected from all vendors. Vendors must perform requirement gathering and submit both technical and financial proposals accordingly, with any incompatibility losses to be borne by the vendor or principal. Warranty and support must include 24x7 NBD (Next Business Day) service by principle-verified 1-year subscription license, 1 year software upgrades, 24x7 technical support, and full hardware warranty. A bid security of Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) drawn in favor of Lahore University of Management Sciences is mandatory.
Interested bidders must obtain the prescribed bid form on company letterhead from the Procurement Office located at Opposite Sector U, DHA Lahore and submit sealed bids in a single package containing two separate envelopes marked "Technical Proposals" and "Financial Proposals" before 03:00 PM on 02 June 2026. All bids must be submitted to the Manager Procurement at the Lahore University of Management Sciences office, with bids received after the deadline returned unopened. Bid opening will occur at 03:30 PM on the same date in the presence of bidder representatives.
