Description / Scope of Work
The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Sindh, invites sealed bids from eligible contractors and firms for two construction works under its HEC funded project. The first work comprises left-out remaining work of extension to working Sindh Hotel including compound wall and staff quarters, with an estimated cost of Rs. 5,000 and a contract period of twelve months. The second work involves left-out remaining work of information technology block and extension of administrative block of students financial aid office, office of research, innovation and commercialization, and grants and contracts cell, with an estimated cost of Rs. 5,000 and a contract period of ten months. Both projects are located at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, and are funded through the Higher Education Commission.
Eligible bidders must possess current registration with the Federal Board of Revenue and the Sindh Revenue Board, have at least ten years of experience in similar services in HEC or public sector organizations, be registered and active taxpayers, and not be blacklisted by any procuring agency. Bid security at the rate specified in the tender documents is mandatory. All bidders must submit technical proposals with required qualifications and experience details, and financial proposals should be prepared according to the technical evaluation criteria provided in the bidding documents.
Bid documents are available on the EPADS portal at https://portalsindh.spprasys.gov.pk and the University of Sindh website at https://www.usindh.edu.pk. The tender opening is scheduled for 18 June 2026 at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders at the office of the Director Finance, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Bidders should submit bids on or before the specified date and time using EPADS or hand delivery to the office prior to opening.
