Description / Scope of Work
Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Gujranwala invites item rate quotations from well-reputed and approved firms through e-PADS for providing and fixing of polyester safety nets inside sewer manhole chambers in Gujranwala. The scope includes the supply, installation, and fixation of non-metal tensioned nets made from recycled polyester strap with M.S hooks, designed to prevent accidental falls while maintaining full water and gas flow. The estimated project cost is Rs. 11.252 million, with a project duration of twelve months commencing from the date of contract signing, extendable for up to two additional years at the discretion of the competent authority. The work encompasses removal and refixing of existing manhole covers and barricading arrangements during net installation.
Bidders must be registered firms approved by relevant procurement authorities. The bid security requirement is five percent of the estimated cost, to be submitted as CDR, bank guarantee, pay order, demand draft, or banker's cheque in soft form on e-PADS with the original document submitted to WASA Head Office at Main Market Peoples Colony, Gujranwala before the bid opening time. The contractor must upload PEC certificate, NTN, and PRA documentation for the current financial year 2025-26. All procurement shall be conducted in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024 through the Punjab Procurement Authority (PPRA) e-PADS platform only.
Bidding documents containing detailed requirements, terms, and conditions are available to registered bidders on the e-PADS portal at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bids must be submitted electronically on or before 15-06-2026 at 12:30 PM, with opening on the same day at 01:00 PM. Single stage single envelope procedure will be followed. The bid validity period is sixty days. Bids submitted via telegraph, post, or outside e-PADS will not be accepted.
