Description / Scope of Work
District Council Sahiwal invites sealed item rate e-tenders for rehabilitation and improvement of metalled roads in Tehsil Sahiwal and Tehsil Chichawatni within District Council Sahiwal, Punjab. The procurement comprises two separate contracts: rehabilitation and improvement of metalled roads of Tehsil Sahiwal with an estimated cost of Rs. 9,958,000 and earnest money of Rs. 497,900, and rehabilitation and improvement of metalled roads of Tehsil Chichawatni with an estimated cost of Rs. 9,989,000 and earnest money of Rs. 499,450. These infrastructure projects aim to enhance road conditions and accessibility across the two tehsils in Sahiwal district.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category. Bids will be conducted through single stage single envelope as per PPRA rules. Bid security in the form of CDR (Certified Demand Draft) must be submitted along with bidding documents on EPADs. All bids must quote unit rates in both numerical and word formats strictly as per the prescribed schedule; rates filled in any other form will be rejected. Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, cutting, over-written and doubtful bids shall be rejected. The Competent Authority reserves the right to reject all bids at any time prior to approval and acceptance of rates.
Bid documents are available on EPADs and PPRA websites and must be submitted electronically on EPADs from the publication date until 12:00 pm on 10 June 2026. Original CDR should be submitted to the office of District Council Sahiwal after bid submission on EPADs till 12:30 pm on the same date. All received bids will be opened on EPADs on 10 June 2026 at 1:00 pm in the office of District Council Sahiwal before the tender evaluation committee in the presence of available bidders.
