Description / Scope of Work
The Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) invites bids for the procurement of supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of ophthalmology equipment (Package No. 33, Lot-A) on DAP basis for the establishment of the Federal Government Polyclinic (PGMI)-II at G-11/3, Islamabad. This is a comprehensive medical equipment procurement project undertaken by the Government of the Punjab to equip the new polyclinic facility with modern ophthalmology diagnostic and treatment equipment. The tender is referenced as HCP/FGPC(PGMI)-II/ME-06052026-1/P33A and is being conducted under the supervision of the General Manager, Healthcare Projects-II at IDAP's office in Lahore, Punjab.
All interested bidders must register on the Electronic Procurement Auction and Bidding System (EPADS) of the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) to participate in this procurement. Bidders are required to submit scanned copies of bid security with their technical bids on EPADS, and original bid security documents must be delivered to the office of the General Manager (Healthcare Projects-II), IDAP on or before the bid submission deadline. The bidding process is governed by Public Procurement Rules 2004 as amended, and all firms must quote all lots and all items without exception; failure to do so will result in disqualification. Evaluation of bids will be conducted on the basis of the complete package including all items of all lots.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS at punjab.eprocure.gov.pk and the Federal PPRA website at http://ppra.org.pk on or before 16:00 HRS PST on 11th June 2026. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 16:30 HRS PST in the Committee Room at IDAP's office located at Ground Floor, 50-B3 Gulberg III, Lahore. Bidders' representatives are welcome to attend the bid opening. In the event of a government holiday on the bid opening date, the submission and opening will be rescheduled to the next working day at the same time.
