Description / Scope of Work
The Irrigation Department, Government of the Punjab, Gujranwala Canal Division, invites sealed bids for two works under the Single Stage-Single Envelope bidding procedure. The first work involves removing debris, slush, and sewerage floating material from the city and populated areas of Kamoki District from Road 90+000 to 154+850 Tail Mandalia Section, with an estimated cost of Rs 2985800 and earnest money of Rs 149290. The second work covers desiltation and cleaning of the inner Prem of Nuppur Diety Road 35+000 to 85+000 in Gujranwala Section Gujranwala Canal Sub Division, with an estimated cost of Rs 2969557 and earnest money of Rs 148478. Both works are located in the Gujranwala region of Punjab and are to be executed during the period from 1 January 2026 to 30 June 2026 under the 1st Bi-Annual Market Rate System. Eligible contractors and engineering firms must be registered with the Punjab PPRA portal and licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council with CE-04 specialization code. Bidders are required to furnish valid PEC registration certificates for 2025-26, along with government tax receipts, CNIC details, and renewal fees to the Punjab Revenue Authority for the specified year. All earnest money or bid security must be submitted in the form of a Bank Guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt from a scheduled bank in Pakistan, made in favour of the Executive Engineer, Gujranwala Canal Division. Successful bidders must provide a Performance Guarantee at 5 percent of the contract amount and must execute an agreement within 15 days of acceptance letter.
Bid documents are uploaded on the EPADS website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) and the PPRA website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) free of charge. Sealed bids with original CDR/Bank Guarantee and attested PEC registration license copies must be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, Gujranwala Canal Division on 09.06.2026 by 02:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same date at 02:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Tender opening committee members will announce the quoted rates of responsive bidders.
