Description / Scope of Work
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Communication and Works Department invites electronic bids from eligible contractors for strengthening and upgrading DHQ Hospitals across multiple districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to enhance building capacity for responding to COVID-19 and any future pandemic situations. Five major projects are being tendered under Single Stage Two Envelope procedure with combined engineering estimates totaling approximately PKR 82 million. Works include capacity improvements at DHQ Bannu, DHQ Di Khan, Secondary Health Facilities in newly merged district AIP, DHQ Tank, and DHQ Lakki Marwat, all with completion periods as per individual work orders.
Bidders must be registered with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), enlisted with the C&W Department, and registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant C-02 and C-01 specialized categories. Bid security is required at 2% of engineering estimate for bids up to 10% below estimate, with additional security obligations for more competitive bids. Call deposit of scheduled banks or bank guarantees issued in favour of Executive Engineer C&W Mega Projects (South-II) DI Khan are acceptable. All information submitted must be authentic and verifiable, with false documentation resulting in bid rejection, debarment, and PEC registration cancellation.
Bid solicitation documents can be obtained from the undersigned office with tender fee of PKR 10,000 including KPPRA photostat and fee charges, processed through E-PADS System. Bids must be submitted electronically before 12:00 hours on 11 June 2026, with technical bid opening on the same day at 12:30 hours.
