Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Chakwal invites electronic bids from eligible contractors, firms, and companies for the rehabilitation and improvement of roads and gas cuts in Dhakoo road and Jabair Pur road, Chakwal, Punjab. The primary contract scope includes road rehabilitation and gas cut restoration works with an estimated cost of PKR 24,997,000. Additionally, the procurement includes three supplementary projects: repair and construction of streets and drains near H/O Major Tahir Iqbal near Udherwal Chowk on Talagang Road (PKR 5,000,000), construction and rehabilitation of street drains from Circular road to Abuzar Colony in Basti Malangan (PKR 5,000,000), and construction and improvement of street drains in Street #25Q near Khalifa Masjid in Mohallah Sarpak (PKR 1,977,000). All works are located in Chakwal district, Punjab.
Eligible bidders must be registered on e-PADS, FBR, and Punjab Revenue Authority with active filer status holding valid NTN and PNTN certificates. Contractors, firms, and companies meeting these criteria may participate. Bid security equivalent to five percent of the estimated cost must be submitted in the form of CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft, or Banker's Cheque in favor of the Chief Officer, Municipal Committee Chakwal. Insurance bonds are not acceptable. Hard copies of bid security documents must be submitted to the Municipal Committee office by 10:00 AM on the closing date for verification.
Bids must be prepared according to bidding documents and submitted exclusively through the e-PADS portal by 11:05 AM on 10 June 2026. Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure shall be adopted. Bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:35 AM on e-PADS. Bidders must quote item-wise rates against each DNIT and BOQ item; percentage-based bids will not be accepted. All rates and amounts shall be quoted in both figures and words, with bids properly signed and stamped. Bids shall remain valid for 120 days from the date of opening. The procurement is governed by PPRA Rules 2014 and Punjab Procurement Regulations 2024.
