Description / Scope of Work
Kohat Irrigation Division invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for the construction of 200 solar-based irrigation tubewells across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. This major ADP scheme comprises thirteen sub-works including installation of irrigation tubewells at multiple agricultural locations in Karak, Kohat, and Hangu districts, with estimated costs ranging from 6.00 to 10.00 million rupees per work. The total procurement covers construction of pump houses, digging, boundary walls, and development of springs and water ponds under the Accelerated Sustainable Development Initiative scheme. Work locations include Samandar Kala in Karak, Sudal Lachi, Kamar Dhand, Bahadar Kot, and Meta Khan in Kohat district, as well as Katghar, Samal Banda Moza Kach, Serozai, and Baseer in Hangu district.
Eligible bidders must have valid registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority and possess PEC category C-6 and above with specialization codes CE-04(v), CE-09, or CE-09(ii). All participating firms and contractors must have renewed their registration for the year 2025-26 in accordance with KPPRA procurement rules 2014. Bidders are required to submit 2 percent bid security of the estimated cost as a deposit at call (original) along with their bid before the closing date. The bid security will be retained by the employer until approval of the contract agreement by the competent authority.
Bid solicitation documents must be downloaded from the department website (www.irrigation.gkp.pk) and KPPRA website (www.kppra.gov.pk) and uploaded on the E-PAD system in complete form; non-responsive bids will be rejected. Electronic bidding shall be conducted on an above/below system based on the Bill of Quantities or Engineer's Estimate. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 04.06.2026 in the office of the undersigned. Bids are due on 09.06.2026 up to 12:00 noon and will be opened at 12:30 PM the same day.
