Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Punjab invites sealed bids through ePADS from registered firms with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in relevant categories having valid specialisation RC-02 (Restoration and Conservation) with experience in Rigid Pavement and fortification works. The project concerns the development of a diversion road with rigid pavement at Taxila Gateway in Taxila District Rawalpindi, Punjab. The estimated cost is PKR 18,800 with an earnest money requirement of 5% of the estimated cost. The completion period is stipulated as 60 days from the date of award. All complete electronicalised bids must be submitted online at www.punjab.epsrocure.gov.pk as per the following schedule.
Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and must possess field of specialisation BC-02 (Restoration and Conservation). Bid security must be submitted as a CDR or bank guarantee in favour of the Directorate General of Archaeology. If the bid amount exceeds 30% of the estimated rate, bidders are required to provide a detailed rate analysis for each item. All incomplete bids with blank entries, missing DNIT and BOQs, or discrepancies will be declared non-responsive and excluded from consideration for determining the lowest evaluated bidder. Contractors must quote rates against each entry or item of DNIT and BOQs at percentage and completely fill the pages of rate analysis, summary and sub-summary of each lot.
Technical and Financial Bid Submission Date and Time is 8th June 2026 at 02:00 PM. Technical Bid Opening Date and Time is also 8th June 2026 at 02:00 PM. Bids will be received through www.punjab.epsrocure.gov.pk and procurement will be conducted under Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure as per PPRA rules 2014. Bidders should obtain detailed information from the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority website at www.ppta.punjab.gov.pk. A copy of the CDR or Bank Guarantee should be submitted in the office of Directorate General of Archaeology, 60-A Gardens Block, Garden Town, Lahore on or before the bid opening time.
