Description / Scope of Work
The Material Management division of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) is inviting electronic bids for the procurement of 25-KVA distribution transformers conforming to DDS-84:2020 specification as amended to date. This is a national competitive bidding process for goods procurement under the FY 2026-27 budget allocation. The procurement will follow the Single Stage-One Envelope methodology using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in compliance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and relevant regulatory guidelines issued by the procurement authority. Bidders must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 platform and submit their bids electronically through this system.
Bidders are required to meet standard eligibility criteria and submit bid security in the form of pay order, banker's cheque, call deposit, bank guarantee, or demand draft as specified in the bidding document, or provide a bid security declaration if waived by the procuring agency. All participating vendors must comply with the technical specifications, general conditions of contract, special conditions, integrity pact requirements, and performance guarantee provisions outlined in the complete tender documentation. The procurement follows established government procurement protocols and includes mandatory compliance with all tender requirements and annexures.
The complete e-bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, technical specifications, price schedules, and evaluation criteria are available on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register themselves on EPADS v2.0 on or before Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at 10:30 AM, with electronic bids opening on the same day at 11:00 AM. Manual bid submissions will not be entertained.
