Description / Scope of Work
District Council Toba Tek Singh invites sealed electronic bids from engineering firms and contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council for four repair, maintenance and construction schemes involving drain work across multiple tehsils. The total estimated cost of works ranges from Rs. 5,000,000 to Rs. 8,000,000 per scheme, with work locations in Toba Tek Singh District including Muhamrram-ul-Haram routes in Tehsil Toba Tek Singh, Tehsil Kamalia, Tehsil Gojra and Tehsil Pirmahal. The scope includes drain repair and construction, soling and re-soling, earth filling, reinforced cement concrete slab works, manhole cover raising and patch work along designated routes. All four schemes are being tendered simultaneously through the Punjab PPRA e-tendering system with item rate-based bidding under PPRA Rules 2017 as amended and LGW Rules 2017.
Participating contractors and firms must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and codes, and must also be registered on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bid security is required at five percent of the estimated cost or fill rates, to be deposited as a Crossed Demand Draft in favour of the Chief Officer, District Council, Toba Tek Singh. Bidders quoting lowest rates exceeding five percent below the estimated cost must provide additional performance security from a scheduled bank under PLGW and PPRA Rules. Submission of false information or fake documents will result in disqualification and recommendations for blacklisting with PPRA and PEC.
Bid documents are available on the E-PAD System and PPRA website. Complete e-bids must be submitted online through the EPADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk by 13 June 2026 at 11:30 AM, with opening scheduled for the same date at 2:00 PM at the office of the Chief Officer, District Council, Toba Tek Singh. Bidders must upload CDR and bid documents half hour before submission deadline, with original CDR submitted to the Opening Committee on the same day.
