Description / Scope of Work
The Purchase Department of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad, invites electronic bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of low end ICU patient beds under the project titled Establishment of Stroke Intervention and Expansion of Critical Care and Cardiac Facilities at PIMS. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 with funds reserved for the purpose. The goods procurement covers ICU patient beds as specified in the detailed technical specifications provided in the bidding documents. The procurement will be conducted as a national tender using the Single Stage-Two Envelope methodology with Least Cost Based Selection technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004.
Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 on or before the closing date of June 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM. All bids must be accompanied by bid security as specified in the bidding document, either in the form of a pay order or call deposit, or alternatively by a bid security declaration where not required by the procuring agency. Eligible bidders should review the detailed eligibility criteria, evaluation criteria, technical specifications, and contractual terms provided in the complete bidding documents.

Electronic bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 before the closing deadline. Bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submission of bids will not be accepted.
