Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad is issuing a procurement notice for the purchase of an Ophthalmic Multi-Spot Solid State Photocoagulator, commonly known as a Pattern Laser, as part of the project titled "Establishment of Stroke Intervention & Expansion of Critical Care/Cardiac Facilities at PIMS". This is a goods procurement for the Federal Territory of Islamabad Capital Territory, with funds reserved for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement will be conducted using the Single Stage-Two Envelope method with Least Cost Based Selection technique in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004.
Eligible bidders must be registered on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 before the deadline and are required to submit bids through this electronic platform. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a Pay Order or Call at Deposit, or alternatively bidders may furnish a Bid Security Declaration as specified in the bidding document. Bidders should carefully review the detailed eligibility criteria, evaluation metrics, and technical specifications outlined in the complete bidding document available on the EPADS portal.
E-bidding documents are available on EPADS at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/. Bidders must register on or before Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with electronic bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual submission of bids will not be accepted.
