Solarization of Masjid Under Roshan WZR Program

The Office of the Assistant Director (Senior), Local Government and Rural Development Department, District South Waziristan Lower, invites sealed tenders for the solarization of 88 mosques and government offices under the Roshan Waziristan Renewable Program. This major development initiative, valued at Rs. 75.00 million, is part of the Accelerated Sustainable Development Initiatives for District South Waziristan Lower and covers installation of solar systems across numerous Jamia Masjids, Madrassas, and administrative offices throughout the district in South Waziristan Lower, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The project aims to provide sustainable renewable energy solutions to religious and public institutions.

Eligible bidders must be government contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and enlisted with the Civil and Works Department as per the Centralized Enlistment Policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the current financial year. Contractors are required to obtain SECP registration and specific PEC codes including EE02, EE04, EE09, EE11(ii), EE11(vi), EE11(vv), and EE11(xxv) along with all relevant civil engineering codes. Bid security of Rs. 1,550,000 (2% of estimated cost) must be submitted as a call deposit in favor of the Assistant Director (Senior), LG&RDD, South Waziristan Lower, prepared after publication of the Notice and before the bid closing time.

Bid solicitation documents can be downloaded from www.eprocure.gov.pk (EPADS website) and www.kppra.gov.pk. Bidders must submit proposals through EPADS and also send hard copies with sealed envelopes marked separately as Technical Bid and Financial Proposal to the Assistant Director (Senior), LG&RDD Headquarters, South Waziristan Lower Wana, Camp via registered courier service. The closing date for electronic tender submission is 16th June 2026 at 12:30 PM, with clarifications accepted until 10th June 2026 at 5:00 PM. Technical proposals will be evaluated first, followed by opening of financial bids from responsive bidders. Bids remain valid for 90 days from the closing date.
