Description / Scope of Work
The Institute of Business Administration Karachi invites quotations for the supply of hardware materials required for maintenance and construction activities at its Main Campus on University Road, Karachi, Sindh. The Request for Quotation (RFQ-003770) covers a comprehensive range of items including adhesive bonds, wooden glue, drawer locks, steel nails of various sizes, drywall screws, wooden nails, aluminium sheets, door closers, formica sheets, wooden back sheets, and soft board sheets for notice boards. Bidders are required to supply materials of good quality as specified, with quantities ranging from individual items to bulk orders measured in packets, boxes, feet, and kilograms. Samples are mandatory for quality approval and the order is subject to approval of samples for all items listed.
Participants must meet IBA's quality and compliance standards. Materials will be subject to final inspection at the time of delivery, and IBA reserves the right to cancel any items if materials do not conform to specifications or if delivery is delayed. Payment will be made through crossed cheque after receipt of invoice and delivery of items. General Sales Tax will be applied to applicable items only, and a liquidity damage charge of 2 percent per month will be imposed on delayed deliveries. All government taxes, levies, and charges will be applied as per relevant SRO notifications, with an additional stamp duty of 0.35 percent levied against the total value of the purchase order.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Purchase Department at IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi. Quotations must be submitted by 5:00 PM on June 5, 2026, to the Purchase Department. IBA reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, to award items to different lowest responsive bidders, and to modify quantities or remove items without assigning reasons.
