Description / Scope of Work
The Forest Department Buner, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites electronic bids from eligible firms and contractors for the construction of fire watch towers under the Forest Fire Management system in Miandam Forest Region III. Two packages are being procured with a combined estimated cost of PKR 11.5 million. Package I involves construction of a fire watch tower at Banj Sar, Gukand Comptt No.19 with an estimated cost of PKR 5.75 million, while Package II covers construction of a fire watch tower at Sar Malang, Naway Kalay Comptt No.01 with an identical estimated cost of PKR 5.75 million. Both works are located in Buner district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Bidding follows the KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014 (amended) under the FDF scheme for Strengthening of Forest Fire Management system in Miandam Forest Region-III (Revised) up to 23 June 2026.
Eligible bidders must hold valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in C6 category or above, duly renewed for the current financial year. Proof of registration with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority as an active tax payer under the Finance Act 2013 is mandatory. Applicants must submit complete bidding documents duly signed, including a CNIC photo copy and affidavit declaring no default, blacklisting or litigation involvement with the department. Bid security shall be provided as per Standard Bidding Documents (SBDs). The competent authority reserves the right to reject any tender, and bidders submitting incorrect information will be disqualified and debarred.
Bid Solicitation Documents and Instructions to Bidders are available from the office on any working day or may be downloaded from the department website www.fcu.kp.gov.pk prior to the submission deadline. Bids must be submitted separately for each package in single stage, single envelope format. The last date for bid submission is 23 June 2026 at 12:00 PM, with opening of financial proposals scheduled for 23 June 2026 at 12:30 PM at the office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Buner Forest Division, Daggar. All bidders are required to register with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Act 2013.
