Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) invites quotations for the supply of 1,000 units of automatic voltage stabilizers with surge protection, each rated 500 VA, to be delivered at PSO Central Store Keamari Terminal (KT-B) in Karachi, Sindh. The stabilizers will be installed and used at PSO retail outlets for the protection of dispensing units. This procurement, referenced as RFQ No RC-19709KZ with SAP No. 6100016895, covers the supply of servo motor control type stabilizers featuring input voltage range of 170-260V, output voltage of 220V ±3%, single phase 50Hz operation, response time within 0.5 seconds against 10% input voltage deviation, and ambient temperature capability from -5°C to +50°C. Each unit must include input supply cord, control circuit, protection relay and fuse, output socket, voltmeter/ammeter, and on/off switch, with multifunction relay comprising over/under voltage protection and over current protection. The stabilizer must be equipped with a surge protector rated at least 7 KA, two multi-sockets for 220V output suitable for German/British plugs (Type D, G, H), fixed input supply cord with 3-pin British Standard 546 Type D plug, and insulation resistance greater than 03 Mega-Ohm with Class A insulation class. Name and data plate showing manufacturer details, model number, and serial number must be affixed to each unit.
Bidders must submit comprehensive technical compliance documentation on a spec-to-spec, clause-by-clause basis with respect to PSO specifications, accompanied by all necessary technical literature and details before bidding. Prior approval of socket and plug samples from PSO is mandatory. Acceptance of equipment is subject to inspection by a PSO-nominated third party at the supplier's warehouse or factory premises before shipment, as well as further inspection at PSO Central Store Keamari upon delivery for specification verification. Bidders must be registered vendors with PSO and possess relevant manufacturing and supply experience with voltage stabilization equipment.
The delivery timeline is 180 days from issuance of the Purchase Order. In case of failure to deliver in full or in part within the stipulated time, a penalty at the rate of 0.1% of the total value of undelivered quantity per day of delay shall be levied, subject to a maximum of 10% of the work order value. Quotations must be submitted by 23 June 2026. Warranty covering equipment replacement of parts is required for 18 months from the date of equipment supply at PSO store. Prospective vendors should obtain bid documents and submit quotations with requisite earnest money security as specified in the tender documents, with contact through PSO House, Khayaban-e-Iqbal, Clifton, Karachi.
