Description / Scope of Work
Municipal Committee Daska, under the Local Government & Community Development Department of the Government of the Punjab, invites electronic bids from registered contractors, firms, manufacturers and authorized dealers for arrangements to provide equipment for monsoon and flood response during 2026. The project is located in Daska, Punjab and carries an estimated cost of Rs. 2,260,045 with a bid security requirement of Rs. 113,002. This procurement aims to equip the municipality with necessary disaster management resources for the upcoming monsoon season. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) with both NTN and PNTN registration, and pre-qualified with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) for e-procurement participation on the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (ePADS). All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified demand draft, bank guarantee, demand draft, or pay order issued in the name of Municipal Committee Daska, equivalent to five percent of the estimated project cost. Bidders must submit complete electronic bids online through the Punjab e-Procurement portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk following a single-stage, one-envelope procedure. The scanned copy of bid security must be uploaded on ePADS while the original document must be physically submitted to the Municipal Officer (Infrastructure and Services) at the Municipal Committee Daska office no later than 11:00 AM on June 17, 2026. E-bids will be opened on the same date at 11:30 AM at the MC Office in Daska. Successful contractors must execute a formal agreement on government-specified stamp papers within seven days of receiving the acceptance letter and are required to submit a performance guarantee as per clause 56 of PPRA rules. Non-responsive bids will be rejected, and any submission of fraudulent information or documents will result in disqualification and blacklisting from future local government procurement processes.
