The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Faisalabad invites tenders from registered engineering firms and contractors for three water and sanitation infrastructure projects in Punjab. The tender process follows the Punjab Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) E-Tendering System with relevant amendments to PPRA Rules. The first project involves restoration of road pavement at X-Block Madina Town and C-Block People Colony No. 2 in the East Division Water Directorate, valued at Rs 2,513,237 with an earnest money requirement of Rs 75,500 and a 30-day completion timeline. The second project requires providing and laying 3-inch and 6-inch diameter HDPE water supply lines at Sidiquia Qubrstan Road to Main Waris Pura Road in the East Division Water area, estimated at Rs 8,69,643 with earnest money of Rs 26,500 and 30 days for completion. The third project entails providing and laying 4-inch diameter HDPE water supply line at Hilal Road from Buksh Road to Board Chowk in Kareem Town East Division, valued at Rs 11,32,650 with earnest money of Rs 34,000 and a 30-day timeline.
Eligibility requirements mandate that intending contractors and firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category or codes and must maintain current registration on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. All participants are required to upload earnest money as a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) in favour of the Deputy Director Water (D&M) WASA at 3 percent of the tender schedule cost and fill rates against items of work on the same website within the specified bid submission deadline. Original CDR documents must be submitted to the tender opening committee on the same day, half an hour before bids are opened, or the contractor will face disqualification. The agency maintains strict compliance measures, including provisions to reject any bids containing false information or forged documents, with blacklisting recommendations to PPRA and PEC for offending firms.
Bid documents and tender schedules are available through the Punjab PPRA E-Tendering portal. All bids must be submitted online on the portal by the deadline specified for each project. The tender opening will take place at the Jhal Kharuasua Water Supply Office on 18 June 2026 at 11:30 AM, where all bids will be retrieved, quoted rates will be announced, and successful bidders will be identified in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
