Description / Scope of Work
The Divisional Forest Officer of Upper Swat Forest Division, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites sealed electronic bids under the single stage single envelope method for the construction of fire watch towers as part of the Strengthening of Forest Fire Management System in Malakand Forest Region (Revised). Two fire watch tower structures are to be constructed: one at Gabin Jabba Compartment No 27 and another at Miandam Compartment No 14. The total estimated cost for both structures is Rs. 12 million, with work to be completed within three months. These structures are critical infrastructure for enhancing forest fire detection and management capabilities across the Malakand forest region in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors with the KPPRA (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Roads Authority), duly enrolled with the FPCCI or Pakistan Engineering Council in C-6 category or above, and registered with relevant revenue and tax authorities including the Sales Tax Authority, Income Tax Authority, and KPPRA itself. A call deposit of 2% of the estimated cost is required with bid submission. All federal and provincial duties, stamp duties, and applicable taxes including KPPRA taxes are recoverable as per government directives. The firm must maintain valid KPPRA registration under Rule 37A throughout the contract period.
Interested bidders must download the Bid Solicitation Documents from the EPAD portal at https://kp.eprocure.gov.pk and submit electronic bids on or before June 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. No hard copies of bid documents are required. All bids must be stamped and signed by an authorized representative before uploading. Incomplete, conditional, late, or manually submitted bids will be rejected.
