Metropolitan Corporation Lahore invites bids for rehabilitation, reconstruction, and improvement of various road infrastructure projects across multiple zones in Punjab. The tender encompasses fifteen separate contracts with a combined estimated value of approximately 683.48 million rupees, including major projects such as rehabilitation and reconstruction of Main Umer Khan Road and Link Roads in Wahga zone (estimated cost 79.97 million rupees), Main Sottar Mill Road and Link Roads (99.58 million rupees), and rehabilitation of footpath and center median on main and sub-main roads in Headquarter zone (88.56 million rupees). Additional contracts cover painting and lane marking of center median footpaths across zones including Shalimar, Data Gunj Bukhsh, Ravi, Aziz Bhatti, Samanabad, Gulberg, Allama Iqbal, and Nishtar, with estimated costs ranging from 9.36 to 29 million rupees each. All projects are located within Lahore city and will be completed within a 60-day timeline.
Eligible bidders must be registered or renewed with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category, with requirements ranging from C-4 category and above for major reconstruction contracts to C-5 or C-6 categories for improvement and painting projects. Bidders are required to conduct their own due diligence and analysis regarding the accuracy and completeness of bidding document information. All information submitted becomes the property of the procuring agency subject to applicable Pakistani laws. In case of conflict between bidding documents and PPRA legal framework, the latter shall prevail.
Bid documents can be obtained from Metropolitan Corporation Lahore, and bids will be received until 10:30 AM on 19 June 2026, with opening scheduled for 11:00 AM the same day at the procuring agency's office. The tender is conducted on a single stage one envelope basis, and bidders must submit bids in accordance with the prescribed procedures and requirements outlined in the bidding documents. Prospective contractors should verify all technical specifications, project scope, and eligibility requirements before submission.
