Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Committee Jatoi invites tenders for the approved Muharramul-Harram schemes for the financial year 2026 under the MRS 1st Bi Annual 2026 rate schedule. The project involves providing and fixing electrification articles with LED lights, bulbs, and accessories on Muharram-ul-Haram routes within the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee Jatoi in Punjab. The estimated project cost is 1.15 million rupees. Bids will be evaluated on rates or percentage above or below the approved DNIT (Departmental Norms of Issue and Turnout), and the contract will be awarded to the lowest evaluated bidder. The tender is being processed through the EPADS electronic procurement system managed by PPRA (Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority).
Eligibility requirements mandate that bidders and firms must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category or codes for the year 2026. All participating contractors and firms are required to maintain current registration on the Punjab PPRA website EPADs portal. Bid security must be submitted as a CDR (Call Deposit Receipt) equivalent to 5 percent of the estimated cost in favor of the Municipal Officer (I&S), with the original CDR compulsory submission one hour before bid opening. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in automatic disqualification. Current PPRA Rules will be strictly enforced, and submission of fake information or documents will lead to disqualification and blacklisting from all future LG&CD Department tendering processes.
Bidders must submit bids through the EPADS portal by 01:00 PM on June 16, 2026, with bid opening scheduled for June 17, 2026 at 01:30 PM at the Municipal Committee Jatoi office. All financial bids must include quoted rates against each item of the DNIT/BOQs with completely filled rates analysis and summary pages; incomplete bids will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders must attend the opening ceremony where quoted rates will be retrieved and announced.
