Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Buildings Department (North Zone) under the Communication and Works Department invites sealed bids from registered engineering firms and contractors for the establishment of a School for Midwifery at District Headquarters Hospital (DHDC) Narowal, and selected Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals (T.H.Q.) across Punjab. The estimated project cost is Rs. 3,13,06,580 with an earnest money deposit of Rs. 15,65,329. The tender is being floated through the PPRA E-Tendering System in accordance with PPRA rules and procedures, with the contract to be executed and completed by the specified deadline in Narowal.
All bidding contractors and engineering firms must possess valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and must be registered on the Punjab PPRA website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk). Contractors are required to upload a scanned copy of the Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) at 5 percent of the estimated cost as per PPRA Rules. In case of false information, bidders will be disqualified as per PPRA regulations and made ineligible for future tender participation. The successful bidder must furnish 10 percent performance guarantee of the contract amount as CDR or bank guarantee within 15 days and submit the original CDR to the Executive Engineer's office in Narowal.
Bid documents must be submitted completely on the PPRA E-Tendering System with all required pages properly filled, including technical specifications, cost analysis, and financial bids. The tender will be opened on 17 June 2026 at 11:00 AM at the office of the Superintending Engineer Buildings Circle No. 2, Gujranwala.
