Municipal Committee Khairpur Tamewali invites sealed bids through the E-PADS online procurement portal for two repair and maintenance schemes totaling PKR 3,513,000. The first scheme covers repair and maintenance of flooring in the city area along Moharram routes with an estimated cost of PKR 1,499,000, while the second scheme addresses similar works on Dr. Ashiq Ali Road (Moharram routes) with an estimated cost of PKR 2,014,000. Both projects are located in Khairpur Tamewali, Punjab, and form part of municipal infrastructure development and maintenance initiatives. The tender process follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure as per Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and is open to all eligible bidders.
Eligible contractors must possess a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license for the current financial year 2025-26. Bidders are required to submit earnest money (bid security) equivalent to 5 percent of the estimated cost for each scheme in the form of CDR or pay order from any scheduled bank in Punjab, made payable to the Chief Officer Municipal Committee Khairpur Tamewali. Contractors must quote their rates in both numerals and words on a percentage basis or item rate basis above or below the engineer's estimate. Non-responsive, conditional, unsigned, incomplete, cutting, overwritten, or doubtful bids will be rejected outright.
Tender documents are available free of charge from the PPRA website and E-PADS portal. Bids must be submitted electronically on E-PADS by 17 June 2026 at 12:00 PM, with opening scheduled for the same date at 12:30 PM at the Municipal Committee office in Khairpur Tamewali. Successful bidders must deposit additional performance security within 15 days if their quoted rates fall below the estimated cost. The Administrator reserves the right to reject all bids without assigning reasons and may increase or decrease quantities before or after work order issuance.
